HISTORY

1992

Christian Rudolph founded together with his then business partner, the engineering design office CTE Technische Entwicklungen GmbH. The executive directors develop and design independently, go about winning new customers, manage human resources on top of successfully winding up engineering projects.

1997

Company steadily grows. Meanwhile the core team consists of 15 employees. Strong customer relationships are geared towards the automobile industry. CAD-Systems, Siemens NX then Unigraphics NX are installed as the company's designated software system. From now on we are able to carry out construction design work with clients and teams on-site.

2002

Both founders decide at the company’s 10th anniversary celebration to go their separate ways. Christian Rudolph heads the company as managing shareholder. The Company changes to CTE Entwicklungen GmbH and is run solely by the Rudolph family.

2007

Company continues to expand due to the strong demand for engineering capacities. Additional services are being set up in the fields of electronic construction including hard and software besides mechanical engineering development and construction. Technical editing is also established as an extra service. Internally the company is becoming fit and equipped for the future by introducing new fields of expertise and processes. Management expertise in technology, finance, and human resources is well developed so as to continuously meet and satisfy the customers’ needs. Finally, the company can boast of 40 employees and relocates their premises to Max-von-Laue-Str. 5 in Augsburg.

2012 - 2016

Meanwhile 20 years on, the company counts as a prestigious Engineering Full Service Partner, employing about 100 members of staff. Regional and nationwide companies enjoy qualitative and partner-like cooperation and extend this steadily. Exciting new business areas are opened up while the company succeeds in winning over future-orientated partner enterprises. The range of CAD tools now includes SolidWorks, PTC Creo Parametric and Autodesk Inventor. The first apprentices are employed.

Present Day Now

Today, more than ever before quality and not quantity counts. The company has established itself and focuses on its core competency. Starting from the product idea right through to the technological implementation and assistance - partnership-like cooperation from the very first moment on with client companies - satisfied and dynamic employees - leading innovation and cutting-edge technology – this is what CTE Entwicklungen GmbH stands for, then and now.
